College Application Week is an annual event in NC to help students manage applying to college. College Foundation of North Carolina co-sponsors this event with Carolinas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers. NC students receive counseling, support and, in many cases, application fee waivers to make applying to college accessible to all.
All this week, many area colleges and universities are waiving their application fees. Costs usually run between $40 and $100 per application, so for those students who are applying to several schools, the savings can be substantial. Don’t wait till the weekend, though. The special program ends on Friday, Nov. 14.
